Welcome to Minimal Student – where hacks, laziness and Zen come together.
Hello, I’m J and I have very little experience in being a student. Sure, I am a student right now, but that doesn’t mean I’m very good at it. And then I discovered some books and blogs that changed my life, they were all about minimalism and Zen – the art of simplifying, which leads to increased productivity, increased quality of life and increased happiness. I really wanted to share them with everyone, and hopefully they will change your life too.
Everything I know and find will be posted here, this blog is a journey, I don’t know where it’s going, or indeed if there’s a destination, but the end isn’t the most important thing, the path is, so why don’t you join me in my adventure in becoming a better and happier student?
I hope to build a fully comprehensive guide on how best to live life as a student. Of course, I don’t have all of the answers, so I have decided to change the format of the blog so that any good comments and suggestions I receive will go towards improving each post, like a wiki. Essentially, I want to share this journey so that we can work together to make the best student lifehacking guide on the net.
So please feel completely free to be critical and helpful by commenting on how you think each post can be improved. I hope to cover the following topics:
- Clutter/Stuff
- Commitments
- Attachment
- Relationships
- Money
- Productivity
